Hychor took part in Chemistry at Work Day, delivering an interactive hydrogen workshop that gave secondary school students from across Aberdeen and the Shire a practical introduction to clean energy, climate solutions, and STEM careers.
Converge Net Zero Challenge Finalist
Hychor and founder Dr Jani Shibuya were named finalists in the Converge Net Zero Challenge, competing for £30,000 and in-kind support to advance the company’s seawater hydrogen technology.
Offshore Europe 2025
Hychor founder Dr Jani Shibuya presented the company’s technology and recent progress at SPE Offshore Europe 2025, joined by summer intern Andrew Paton and members of the University of Aberdeen’s AbElektro group.
