We were honoured to be selected by the University of Aberdeen to present our innovative technology to Scotland’s Deputy First Minister, Kate Forbes MSP. During the event, our Founder and CEO, Jani Shibuya, introduced Hychor’s novel seawater electrolyser technology as a key solution to support Scotland’s growing green hydrogen sector.
In the presentation, Jani highlighted how utilising seawater instead of freshwater for hydrogen production can build system resilience, ensuring a stable water source even in the face of climate fluctuations. This innovation is crucial for scaling up green hydrogen production in a sustainable and reliable way.
Hychor was one of four groups selected to present to the Deputy First Minister, alongside other groundbreaking innovations in anti-fungal medication, AI-assisted agriculture, and hemp utilisation.
